This poetry anthology by Roald Dahl shows old fairy tales in a new perspective. Goldilocks, a good little girl, or a house breaker? The three little pigs, innocent victims, or plain stupid? Little Red Riding Hood, a sweet young girl, or a vicious hunter? Care to find out?

This was a great book, and I give it a 9/10 rating!

Nelson Ski Club

Multiple Authors
128 pages

This book is a collection of writings by Nelson Ski Club members, and explains a lot of stuff about it. My great grandfather, Eric Chittendon, founded the club, and my family has had a lot of involvement with the club. The book is pretty interesting, and I thought it was a great! I give it a 9/10 rating. One of my favourite chapters was where a guy threw a table down the hillside.

The Diary Of Anne Frank

By Anne Frank
280 pages

While in hiding from the Germans, Anne Frank wrote a diary detailing what it was like to live in the secret annex with her family and four other people. They lived there for about 2 years, before the Germans arrested them, and 2 of their helpers, Mr Kugler and Mr Kleiman. This book is an insight to Anne’s opinion of hiding, the war, and other things, and is a good read. Anne went in when she was 13, and was captured age 15, sent to concentration camp, and died of typhus, along with her sister Margot. Despite all this it is a great book, and a good autobiography to read. I give it a 10/10.

This book teaches you everything you need to know about Opti Sailing. From Boat rigging and basic sailing, to advanced boat handling and tactics and strategy, this book has it all!

This was an informative book, although I would advise for you not to read it if you don’t know many sailing terms, as it may become confusing. I give it a 9/10.
